I see that in this page it is advised to use the following RegExp to validate email addresses:

However, this would validate an email address containing whitespace, and also lists of email addresses separated by puctuation.
I've found this RegExp would validate correctly an email address:

As far as I know, there is not a neater option.
How about changing the page content?
